First pitch: Acuna hit near hand and bat HOOVER DAM This crap has got to stop It stops when he learns to demolish the inside pitch. One doesn't usually swing at a pitch 6 inches INSIDE

It is time for Betts to get one under his chin Agreed It would serve us well on many fronts. After a WARNING to both benches, the Dodgers wouldn't be able to come inside on Acuna anymore tonight.

Why can't a batter swing hard and let go of the bat in the pitcher's direction? Like, oops, I lost my grip? It would be nice to see the pitcher have to dive for the dirt once in a while so they can experience the fun.

According to the announcers, that's just good pitching--keeping Acuna off the plate.

That is to keep them from pitching inside. That will not stop opposing pitchers from sending a message after we hit two HR's in the 9th last night, and that's what that was.
