@grantmcauley: The #Braves have four shutouts in five #Postseason games, and one was a 13-inning affair.
Atlanta had four shutouts in 60 regular season games, and one was a 7-inning contest.

Great that we can further rest our bullpen guys, Acuna's wrist, and everybody for that matter.
I'd like to see the Padres win the next two and drag that series all the way out.
I hope they go 22 innings in the last game.

I personally like to have seen Snitker put in a few guys just to get them a couple of In. and an at bat just to get them an at bat against live pitching. THe Next series we will need someone to get a big hit off the bench. Let Pablo take over at 3rd and let Riley sit the last couple of innings (Riley came in the postseason with the hammy issue), maybe get Flowers in, and instead of just using him as a defensive replacement, let Pache get an at bat in the post season. Culberson, Pache, Pablo all haven't face live game time pitcher since the end of the regular season.
I would have like to see Tomlin pitched also, I think he will be more important then Greene, since I believe he would be your game 4 starter right now.

I was thinking the same thing the last 2 or 3 innings. Then again, I didn't want the fish to get any ideas that they might get back in that game, either. This has been a long time coming.

Yeah knowing our propensity for gagging I wouldn't have messed with taking guys out early, especially because the Marlins can score runs in bunches. ten run lead or more yes, but not just 7 runs, not in today's game with the home runs flying left and right.

I would have let Pache pinch hit to get him an at bat and maybe have done the same for Panda, but I don't know what else. I think Wilson may be a game 4 starter instead of Tomlin, but I'm not sure I would have wanted to put him in. I didn't want to give these guys an inch because of our propensity for choking. Definitely would have gotten Pache an AB though.

We should start Pache when Kershaw pitches just to give him some ABs because Neck will be jello against Kershaw.

My understanding is that Ynoa is the current best bet to start Game 4 but I see why you'd want the rest to get some at bats. That said, I'm pretty sure that they wanted to make sure that they finished this game and then everyone would get all of the rest they needed.

Yeah... Ynoa or Wilson before Tomlin.
I think they've settle in as Tomlin will be the if needed long-relief guy. He was much better in that role than as a starter for whatever reason.
Ynoa had more starts than Wilson, 5-2 I think but Wilson had a much better ERA and a higher WAR value on less innings, 15 vs Ynoa's 24.
