Despite signing All Stars including guys like Realmuto, Harper, Segura. McCutchen, Gregorious, and Wheeler they are still basically a .500 team over the last 3 years. Yea, they did spend what was called at the time stupid money by the owners I give em credit for trying but they have not accomplished a hell of alot And who knows if they will be able to keep Realmuto? They did give up one potential stud young SP to Miami in Sixto Sanchez, now if they keep him not so bad Also add Arrietta. Three yrs of mixed results

Diaz walks Moniak to load the bases. Tying run at the plate, two outs. McCutchen grounds out to end it.
Mets 10 Phillies 6 Final
Phillies fall below .500 and to 4.5 back in the NL East with 11 to play.
They fall to the last playoff position just .5 games ahead of the Cardinals and 1 game ahead of the Brewers.
In addition, Segura got hit on the elbow earlier and was removed from the game.

Mc Cutchen has not been so great with the Phillies. He has what, one more yr left going into his age 34 season? He was not signed that cheap either
I see Mickey Moniak has finally made his major league debut. He was fair to middling as far as his minor league numbers were. Will see how good he will be in the show.
Overall, Braves in good shape down the final 10 game stretch, split this and it should be good enough
Felt pretty strange being a Met fan for a night, now its time to hate em again

Sanchez IS going to be an elite pitcher, he performed well in the minors and in 5 starts as a rookie in MLB this year he has a 1.69 ERA. He has a high K rate and a low walk rate.
That was a ridiculous haul for two years of JTR, who surely will be leaving Philly if he wants to win before his career is over.

I'm not sure why he's getting a chance this year, but I'd be willing to bet a lot of money he doesn't make it in the big leagues.
Pache had an .815 OPS in AA ball and .747 in AAA last year and we still won't even give him a chance now when it's called for.

I hate to sound nitpicky but should the date of this be 9/18/2020? That is when we play the Mets right? Anyway, we can be Mets fans for one night - good news about the Fish losing to the spoiling Red Sox Be careful of those spoilers like we found out in that Orioles series Corrected. Thanks.
