Yeah... I don’t get it. Even if they thought they were going to cut him... why do that to him.
I almost have to think there was some sort of communication error, or more to the story than we know.

The only thing that would be plausible from the Braves standpoint is somehow they didn't know he threw 90-100 the other day. And how does nobody know that? it's strange. I guess he didn't speak up because he was concerned he was borderline making the team or not, maybe he thought if he spoke up they'd take it wrong? It's messed up.

Perhaps just maybe they had come to the conclusion that he wasn't going to start and was wanting to see how he did on short rest to see if he could maybe pitch long relief. Now granted this is just me reaching but it could have happened.

You guys are so gullible. No one throws 100 pitch bullpen sessions in March. Kazmir is full of crap.

No long reliever would come back that fast if he had to throw around 100 pitches. No pitcher should ever be on the mound again on two days rest after that many pitches. Especially in spring training.

The story doesn’t add up, and I know when a story doesn’t add up. It just doesn’t pass the smell test. 100 pitches in 8 full innings territory and based on where the rotation was it just doesn’t make sense.

You didn't know that the reason Kaz was only throwing 82 is that he had become a knuckleBaller and they don't need rest .
