Well, here's why we aren't going to see Pache....or Waters or Anderson or Mueller or any of the prospects: --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Prorated Service time in 2020
Under the terms of the agreement reached between major league owners and players on March 27, 2020, players will receive service time on a prorated basis for the 2020 season, assuming the season is not cancelled. That means that a player will receive 2.8 days of major league service for every day that they are on the (26 to 30 man) major league roster. A player who is in the major leagues for the full 60 game season will receive one season of service time.
The formula: (No of days on MLB roster x 186) / 66 = credited service time in 2020
A player who is on the major league roster for 30 days will receive 30 x 186/ 66 = 85 days service time.

The players have nobody to blame but themselves for agreeing to such a shi tty deal. We'll see a strike prior to the next CBA, I guarantee you that.

By the way, whilst we're drowning in our sorrow, the Faillies just got swept at home by the Orioles. Somehow they always continue to remain 50 steps behind us even in our dark days, lol......
Rio Ruiz hit a HR for the Orioles, he's batting in the cleanup spot and it was his 4th HR of the year. .271/.333/.604/.937
I hope he keeps it up, I always like him and his swing, I hope he can have a good career.
