Dave O Brien on twitter says Acuña is going to have to visit the doctor tomorrow about his wrist, and word doesn't sound encouraging, but that's all that is known at this point.
Ohhhhh Frack.

Trading Acuna's bat for Ender's whiffle bat.....is one of the most devastating losses we could possibly suffer.
We'd go from an average 100 mph exit velocity to a 6 mph exit velocity.

We don't know that's it's "big trouble for Acuña" yet, but let's take no chances with him or anybody else during this completely meaningless church league tournament that's being played.

Yeah as if losing 4/5 of the stsrting rotation wasn't bad enough.

Doing a MRI and CT scan on the wrist...... not a good sign.

Well I don't know if I should say the headline here is a bit sensationalistic, or just say it's been a sweaty fart box kind of year.

Snitker says acuña has inflammation in the wrist and will miss the series in Miami. He's hoping the rest will reduce the inflammation.

Adams and Ozzie are not close to returning either.
We get a big dose of Ender.

Let's face it we need to just shut the team down and sell it off at this point.
A big dose of Ender--a lot of nothing = nothing.

Personally, I think the team should just treat these next 40 games like it was Spring Training, but instead of getting ready for the season, you’re seeing what you have and what you need for next year.

We almost don't have any other choice, we're really just stuck throwing the same guys out there and just pray for the best. I guess an option is to try to make some trades but that would seem asinine to me right now. I have no idea what the rules are for the prospects, I'd have nothing against getting them playing time ASAP as long as it doesn't start their clocks early. I have a feeling it must, at least right now, because we're not hearing a single word about it from anybody anywhere. I'd put Pache in CF right now if it was cool, but it must not be.

The young guys I feel are hurting by not getting to play their seasons in the minor leagues. Id say bring up the guys who are the closest to mlb ready and see what they can do. There will be no playoff for this team anyway, so there isn't anything left to lose.
If freddie, fried, or swanson get hurt over whats left of this farce of a season, i will be pissed
