Too bad that run has to be charged to Fried, he pitched a masterpiece against a real good lineup.

As I posted in the other tread, maybe some Gwinnett time can do Folty some good. It did last year There is a reason other teams did not bite on him its not that he has that prohibitive salary by todays business Ya know there is no minor league this year. There is no Gwinnett. My bad, got away from sports for a time thx for the correction But he is still in the organization so maybe he can be corrected again - like everyone else hope nothing is seriously wrong with him

Well pitched game, good win - two good wins in a row and that should make us all feel somewhat better
4-3 - some ups some downs but not a bad position to be in
Sure got a break on that Kiermayer baserunning mistake - glad it went in our favor

Nice pair of wins against a really good team, solid comeback that we needed.
Now we need more good things to happen in this Mets series, be nice to get some more guys hitting and some better starting pitching from 3-5.

Folty isn't healthy. His arm may be fine, but there's something wrong with him physically. I pray for his health. Baseball doesn't matter at this point. I hate to speculate, but cancer causes weight loss like that and there's nothing you can do about it. Hopefully it's nothing nearly that dire.

I was thinking the C word too, but I didn't want to say it. I watched my brother go from an already slight 160 or so to around 125 in a span of about 2 months before he passed. I'm sure others here have seen it firsthand as well. Cancer sucks.

Then it came back untreatable and lost down to 85 lbs at death. It's terrible

Well let's wait a bit until we write Folty's eulogy.

Well let's wait a bit until we write Folty's eulogy. naturally, still worried about him though. Hopefully its just a manner of making the appropriate additions to his nutrition and that will get his weight back. I hated seeing him so skinny looking like that.
