If you delve into it the presidents quotes ,hunches, opinions etc are more misleading and false than the media Well, he's an idiot and an obnoxious jerk, I've never hesitated to agree with that. But along the way he's also doing some things to figure this all out and make it better and come up with solutions. That can't be said about the MSM. They're trying to attack and divide and raise hysteria as much as they possibly can. And for political reasons. Shame on them. For real. He's obnoxious because he's been given no choice to be otherwise, and if you wanna talk about obnoxious, just look at the agenda of the dimocrats. Trump is also far from an idiot. I was skeptical at first, but I'm not anymore. He's a fighter, and that's exactly what we need. His style is his style, and we could talk about that all day, but the idiots are in the media and the rest of the political world. I'm ecstatic with what our president has done. Couldn't have asked for anything more, especially given the environment in which he has had to work.

Elton John. One of the greats right there. His talent is off the charts. His talent is often on the charts.. Literally I remember in high school and college, all my friends scoffed at guys like Elton John. It wasn't macho to admit you liked his music. The ladies didn't scoff at it, though! 😉

I agree that the way he’s gotten things done is his style, and if he tried to act differently he probably wouldn’t get things done. I have no problem with that. I don’t have to like somebody in order to respect what they accomplish.

I liked a few Rod Stewart songs, but no Maninose, Diamond, or Sedaka for me. None of those guys possessed anywhere close to the talent of Sir Elton anyway. Those guys would probably all tell you the same.

I always loved Elton’s voice, really powerful and a great singer. We saw him once, in Charlotte about 25 years ago, great show of course. He’s been on a farewell tour, I swear for three years now, and when I checked tickets for his show in Greensboro they were $300 apiece. I think that was all over the arena, not just down by the stage. Yikes.

I've never liked crowds much and now that I've reached the "get off of my lawn" stage of life, I detest them. I do bite the bullet and take the boys to a couple of games every year, though.

Ive been that same way my whole life, I can't stand arena concerts or the big outdoor shows. We go to about 25 concerts a year, but all the artists we see are not mainstream so we go to small venues.
I have a friend who has season tickets to the Panthers football games, and I get a free ticket to every game. At midfield about 15 rows from the field. And there's been plenty of times when I've wanted to tell him you know what, find somebody else to go, I can't take this anymore. From where I live it's an 8 hour ordeal to drive down there and fight 75,000 people in uptown Charlotte and get back home. I started riding the light rail from half an hour away, but you still have to put up with 75,000 people when you get there. And a huge percentage of them are just as inconsiderate as can be. We usually take in a couple Braves games, and I do have tickets for our series in St. Louis in May, which looks like it won't even happen now.

I cannot wait until this Media driven BS is over. They have made things worse, even if it is unintentionally. Especially the behavior with the hoarding. Some bad people out there Its going to be a long spring for sure, maybe we can get half of a baseball season if all goes well. Hope we get a full football season but who knows Will try to scrounge a few extra provisions today, how can you expect people not to hoard to a point when you see shelves half and three quarters bare, got to survive. I just want to pick up a half dozen cans of something every couple of days. That is not buying out the store. And no, I am not one of those who wants to put everything on this President he has his good and bad points who could have done better, the squad? I hope we are not going there but the voters are fickle - hope it gets somewhat turned around cause we know what is coming in November if it is not.

I would have skipped a day of work to see him back in the day low paying job be dammed (at the time of course) I have always been more into the punk and alternative stuff, loved the 90's grunge. Could listen to almost any genere until maybe the last 15 yrs. Not my generation that is all - talking about new music

As time has gone on I think he has improved in his answering questions to a tough media that in most cases has been hostile to him. Imagine how a President Joe Biden would handle questions he did not like to an outlet like Fox, Newsmax or my favorite, One America News. Of course the MSM would kiss his tail Biden has shown to be as jerky and obnoxious (if not more) to those who challenge him. We will see more of him & what kind of progressive woman will he pick? That is the scary question to me

Gonna ask that moving forward, if anyone is going to talk about Biden, Trump, or any other politics or politicians, let's keep it in the "MLB to suspend play due to Coronavirus..." tread.
We will return to Spring training when spring training returns.

For the sake of our prospects I would like to see them get started in some shape of form to have a baseball season
But for now I do not feel optimistic - for player development this is not good
Really hurts the kids in the lower minors they stand the most to lose in my opinion as far as getting more professional experience in the game
The established players can get back to where they were, got to feel for these first and second yr minor league guys
