You can click that arrow on the right side of the video and it shows that it did clip the edge of the strike zone. One of the major factors on this pitch was the speed, it was thrown really slow. It dropped two feet. That's something viewers would have to adjust to, the fact that what we visually think is the strike zone now would have to change. We would have to get used to it. As would hitters. But again, I think once hitters started adjusting, they should LOVE to know exactly what is a strike and what isn't on every single pitch. Once they adjusted they'd have no fear of wondering if the jackass ump was going to blow the call or not. As a hitter I'd love to take months of batting practice on that thing and learn the exact strike zone. What a bonus.

The way I look at it, until I hear some conspiracy about how the robo-zone is being toyed with by MLB, I'll go ahead and trust the results. So, for me, there won't be much adjustment. As long as the telecast shows the zone and where the ball clipped the zone, I'll be fine with accepting the results.

It wont be long until a team like the Cardinals starts monkeying with roboump's set up and "homefield robo" becomes a thing.

The Cardinals should be required to disband after that playoff performance they just gave, one of the weakest in history.

I'm not worried about the accuracy of the call as much as I am the accuracy of the zone. If the zone is not accurate the call is meaningless.

I’m going to assume that it would be. You have to take into consideration that it’ll be a multi-billion dollar company that will be behind it. Only outright incompetence or fuckery, aka conspiracy theory as I put it, would prevent the zone from being accurate.
