Can't believe we didn't beat those AHole Cards..... The Nats are showing that the Cardinals series win over the Braves was a fluke. The Brave handled the Nats in every important series in the 2nd half of the season and just had a bad series against the Cardinals. Inferior teams are going to win a series occasionally. Unfortunately for the Braves, it was a big one in the playoffs. I agree we still should have beaten the Cardinals, but we were in shambles the last three weeks and with Freddie hurt I don’t think we could have beat the Gnats right now. They’re rolling and we weren’t. Our time to beat the Cards was in game four when we were up 4-3 and left the bases loaded twice in a row late in the game.

Yeah, you know, we didn't have anything going our way at the end of the season. Charlie, Freddie, Ender, Camargo, Martin. I mean, Geezus, what are the odds of all that happening in the last month? It's just mind boggling when you really think about it. It doesn't really make me feel any better about it, but it was an awful lot of bad breaks that piled up, and we just couldn't overcome it. It sucks.

Chop is gone, those meetings will seal the deal, and a little part of me has died. After this, they'll change their name. No doubt in my mind. First they'll lose the tomahawk, then the name.

We might as well just go with Vags. We should have told that Cardinals pitcher to stop being a vag, handed out the foam tomahawks and played the music after every pitch in game 5. We rolled over and submitted before that game even started.

I was going to mention the name is as good as gone too and this whole liberal/commie movement can't be stopped. Everything will be scrubbed nice and clean 1984 style. But I really do feel like it's the peoples choice and they do have the option of just tuning out. Cut the cable, forget sports, Hollywood, all of it and let it all implode but I don't think the masses will.

I say we drop the nickname altogether and just be "Atlanta". That way, we don't hurt anyone's feelings.

Best case scenario now, houston gets it done so we won’t have to hear Gnats OR Yankees fans I agree 100% Go Astros!! I'd rather see the Astros win it, but there is something satisfying and hilarious about the prospects of the Nats winning it all after Harper chose to bolt to the Phillies - especially since the billionaire "superstar" could never even lead the Nats to a playoff series win.
