What do we owe this franchise given the way they choke up in the big games
Sure I am a bit emotional and completely discouraged after this game 5, this was an opportunity that was there and we know the rest of the story
But what do I owe this team and some of its underachieving players?
Am I wrong to call out Freddie Freeman for his lackluster play as of late, a costly error and am I a bad fan for losing it after five frustrating years with Folty - a talented arm that cannot put it together for the long haul
How many more $#%^ yrs are we supposed to live with a smile and get hyped up for next yr
Right now, I want to be done with it, want to be done as a sports fan period, it there any reason I should want to watch this
I have to give credit for the fans who showed up, they paid their hard earned money for another embarrassment by the home team - do you not get tired of seeing other teams celebrate on your own turf
I was not that excited about this game today and am not surprised at this -- guess I am too grizzled in disappointment - I hoped they would win but expected them to lose
How can you have hope - only in this city can you lose a 25 point lead in the second half of a super bowl - this is a vent but why should we beat ourselves up anymore over this

There's only two things I know for sure right now:
1) I'm done with baseball for now, I have no idea for how long. The soonest I'm going to care is opening day next year, and I may not even care then. My only hope at this point is that somebody sodomizes the Cardinals in the next round, but I won't be watching.
2) I don't giving a flying squirrel's turd who we sign or don't sign, who we trade or don't trade, who is coming back or who isn't, who the manager is next year, who the coaches are next year......I'm not wasting anymore time on that crap. I don't give a damn. I've had all I can take.
I'm punching out.

I turned the game off after the first inning and have been dead inside since. I was excited about this game before this happened.
I defended Snit in game 1 but I think it was the way he managed the pitching in general this entire series that cost us more than Freeman or any of the veterans not showing up.
I never imagined my feelings for this team would be destroyed the way they were for the Falcons right after 28-3. It will take a minute to get into baseball next season and I won't expect anything if we do make the playoffs.

The fans in ATL do not owe the Atlanta Braves anything
If anything they owe us at least a shameful apology for the way they crapped the bed and once again threw another post season series away
I want to be done with it, hope I can refrain from watching anymore baseball the rest of this post season but old habits one has since I have been a kid will be hard to break, its been more than a half century
I do not want this aggravation anymore but quitting this is not going to be that easy cause its been in my blood just about my whole life
Cannot feel any more joy in this game anymore I have got to quit this cause the Braves are making me miserable - all they do is make this city be an embarrassment and but of jokes Nationally
Same for the Falcons. I do not want to be fooled again.

Didn’t get to post here as much as I wanted cause all the games were early and I had to work. Found myself watching all the games on delay. Straight up, I can understand having Keuchel pitch games 1 and 4, playoff experience and all, but what is nearly unforgivable is not having Soroka pitch games 2 and 5. If anything should cause Snit to be let go, it’s that. I don’t care how well Folty was pitching as of late, I don’t care that Folty has pitched in the playoffs before, and I don’t care that he’s older and more experienced. Soroka was the Braves best pitcher and he should have started 2 games. Period.

I think the injuries really sucked the air out of this team. Inciarte going down when he was getting it together, Camargo going down when he was super hot, Culberson being drilled in face seemed to put the big groan in this team and Freeman's bone spurs becoming an issue, Acuna sitting out like 3 or 4 games. The Braves blowing the last game against the Mets. Chris Martin going down was HUGE. The hot teams and the teams living on a high of clinching late seemed to come through this year.
A team like the Twins getting swept was no surprise, their team was crumbling worse than the Braves. I won't be surprised if the Rays win tomorrow, that's for sure.

Yeah, nothing, I mean absolutely NOTHING went our way the last month or so of the season. We had injury after injury, topped off by Martin going down in the first game of the NLDS. Couple that with the stupidity of not having Soroka on the mound for 2 games, and you see the result. Freddie Freeman supposedly our leader, killed us, and topped it off with that error yesterday that opened the floodgates. With the Braves, it's always something. All that said, I think it's time for Snitker to go. I like the guy, but if he announces his retirement, I'll jump for joy. We need a new approach.

He's too dumb to retire. After the game he said exactly what his problem and what the organizations problem is. he said the goal of every season is just to make the postseason because once there anything can happen.
That's it in a nutshell. Their goal is just to make the playoffs, and once there they throw their arms and ask "now what" because they have no clue what to do.
That was a great goal when we were a rebuilding team but now that has been achieved we need a manager whose goal it is to win the world series, and will manage accordingly. That guy is not Snitker.

I have been a Snitker fan in his time here, but yes, I do not think Snitker is the guy to win in post season Snitker has been useful during the rebuild and he has guided some of these young guys but now its time to move playing big time baseball - and the division rivals are going to keep on at least trying Some day the Muts and Failies are not going to underachieve. The Nats are solid, there is a nucleus here, the payroll is middle of the pack but its time to act like a playoff contender

Not trying to be a Snit apologist, but the playoffs are a crap shoot. It would help, though, if Snit were to have, you know, pitched their best pitcher twice in a 5 game series.

Tired of hearing the playoff are a crap shoot.
If that were true, the Braves would occasionally roll a 7 or 11 instead of always crapping out.
The whole crap shoot theory is a cop out for losing teams. The playoffs are about a team playing at it's best for a couple of weeks in October, and that is not some totally random thing that only happens when the Blue Bird of Happiness happens to crap on your stadium.
