Man that would be just terrible if we end any prayer the Faillies have of getting into the wild card game.....
We've gained 18 games on them now since that season opening series when they were anointed the next coming of the 1927 Yankees....

Glad this wasn't a close game. The pen just HAS to give up a run, whether it's a close game or not. The fate of a Braves' fan. ~sighs~ We will all benefit and be grateful for the requisite Kegel exercises we performed as Brave fans

Glad the Braves were able to sustain their winning ways for at least one more night. 🤣

Glad the Braves were able to sustain their winning ways for at least one more night. 🤣 Maybe the writer of that article can write us one tomorrow saying according to Fibonacci the Faillies were better than us tonight.

Imagine how much trouble we would be in if the Phaillies were any further along in the rebuild than we are...

Imagine how much trouble we would be in if the Phaillies were any further along in the rebuild than we are... If they were any farther ahead of us in their rebuild than we are then it would take eleventy billion years for us to catch up to them.

"When asked how such a wide gap had developed between his team and the Braves, Phillies manager Gabe Classless Dick did not offer an answer, opting instead to make a pitching change." I added that last bit just for fun... ------- I will say this about that article.... I'm not sure that writer has ever looked at the Braves before writing the article. He kept talking about Teheran as if he was one of our rookies. I'm not sure he realizes he's been around about as long as Freeman.

The thing about Teheran is that he's still young, and has always been durable (knocks on wood). He's not the best pitcher in the league and never will be, but by god, for the most part he goes out there and does his job, and that's pretty valuable. Hell, his best years may still be ahead of him for all we know.

He's not a TOR guy, but he's reliable...you can count on him to go out there every fourth or fifth day and he usually gives your team a chance to win. He has his ups and downs and can be frustrating as hell at times, but I'm glad he's on this team.

He seems to have come to terms with the fact that he's never gonna have a 96 mph heater, too, and the results have been quite good. He's gonna have games where he gets bombed, but most guys do. The key is keeping those to a minimum, and he's been doing that. And yes, watching him pitch is like having a root canal, but that's Julio.
