I missed the bored fight tonight but HMF....
You need people like Key. You need people like Key so you can point your fuckin' fingers and say, "That's the bad guy." So... what that make you Hart? Good? You're not good. oh man that was the coolest thing I've ever seen in my life. I'll admit I have never been a Pacino fan and always thought overrated until I watched that. Ten minutes in and I had already forgotten it was him..no make up, no special effects and he just disappeared into the role, It's hard to believe Tony isn't a real person,it really is..so raw,gritty real and just excellent film making. Most films are way too stagy, static and everything feels so preconceived that you are always aware it's just a movie but this was alive and breathing from beginning to end. Amazing as it had such a slow mellow pace too
beautiful to look at yet dirty, realistic yet stylish
dialogue ..perfect..it's just so immersive and I didn't see that ending coming at all. Of course I knew it was going bad but my jaw was on the floor the last 15 minutes, spun my head right out. I would be the biggest movie fan in the world if they were all half that good man. De Palma just get's it, he get's film making.
I gotta watch that again.
