I think we should have Islamic Justice for crooks, seriously there is not the theft problems in those countries
One good acquaintaince I knew from Pakistan, he said he could leave his store unlocked, go to lunch and no problem they do not dare to steal in those countries
We could learn something from them -- Western Civilization does not know it all. We have alot of good things but do not know it all
I have no feelings for crooks who steal someone's hard earned money, even if some one is rich and well off that is not an entitlement to steal do not give a GD what your excuse is or how poor you are
We could use a man like Sherrif Joe Arpaio around here without any silly constitutional restrictions

Jesus... we don't need to live in a country where you can get your hand chopped off for stealing an apple.

Jesus... we don't need to live in a country where you can get your hand chopped off for stealing an apple. I have had my home broken into & been robbed and injured at work due to the armed robbery Sorry, but I HATE a thief. Part of it is personal experiences, but the way I was taught (and think this how most were taught) is that if you want something you work for it & no one owes anyone a living My attitude is more about violent type of crimes and breaking and entering stealing real valuables. Of course I would not want to chop off someone's hand for stealing an apple but look at the news, smash and grabs, and the violence that those in the convenience store type of businesses potentially endure. I used to work in that business, and I have no patience with crimes vs a person's personal residency or a person's place of employment - it goes on too much - I am tired of the excuses I admire anyone who is running any kind of business, God Bless anyone in any kind of retail business this day in time - stay safe and make some $$$$$$

You probably don't want to chop off someone's hand for stealing an apple, and in that case you should think of a different comparison than "Islamic Justice".
Really... a pretty terrible reference. I personally don't think we have anything to learn from them.
Now... back to baseball talk in this section of the forum.
