Here, let me fix that headline.
"Students walk out of school in nationwide desire to not be in class for an hour or so and don't give a crap about protests"

My kids didn’t walk out of anything.
Funny how most of this was “supported by the school system”...
by which it is meant that “school administrations used children to make an emotionally driven political statement”.
I wonder exactly how much time was spent really delving into the issues with the kids, because if they spent more than 2 minutes on it the kids may have walked out to protest the failures of the FBI and the failures of the school systems to do anything to protect them.

Ok, change the name "celebrities" to "nitwits" and then remind all of those nitwits that Follywood promotes more violence than the military and I'm guessing many of those same nitwits have armed bodyguards.

What Burnie should have done was passed out copies of George Orwell's "Animal Farm". Of course, the irony would have been lost on the dolts in attendance.

If all the gun controllers believe the gun is at fault and not the abominations that pull the trigger, shouldn't we be taking away all the cell phones that magically text people on the roads and kill countless people every year instead of the imbeciles that perform that dumb act? How about getting rid of all cars because the accidents sure can't be the fault of all the drug users, alcoholics and idiots that shouldn't have a license in the first place? You can't predict mass murders unless you're a pre-cog. If someone wants to kill a lot of people, they'll find a way. No guns? No problem. Bombs work just as well.

You can't predict mass murders unless you're a pre-cog. If someone wants to kill a lot of people, they'll find a way. No guns? No problem. Bombs work just a well. I agree, and the simple answer is that gun control is about a lot more than just what they try and make it seem. Look at school safety for example. At my kids schools, all the doors are locked during school hours. One way in, and it is covered with a video camera and you have to be buzzed in. If that’s not enough as it is, then put an armed guard at the door. Boom... problem solved for the most part. Make that suggestion though and they don’t even want to talk about it. The only thing they will talk about is gun control laws. You can look at any possible solution other than gun control and its the same response. I can think of several things that are a lot more realistically doable than outlawing guns and they don’t even want to have a conversation about it. It’s all in on guns, or nothing. That right there tells you that gun control is about a lot more than “we’ve got to protect the kids”.

I tried to read the first Orwell article you posted, Jah, (Wash.Times) but a popup kept trying to get me to accept their ads and there was no way to ignore it. The second article was fine. (Wash. Examiner)
