I saw that the NFL voted down The change to the pass interference rule and it will remain a spot of the foul penalty.
The NE Patriots all rejoiced.

Shaq Lawson sets sights on Pro Bowl, Super Bowl in third season with Bills Buffalo Bills defensive end Shaq Lawson has turned into a polarizing player in the team’s locker room. Entering his third year with the team, Lawson is now apart of a dwindling minority. Lawson was on the Bills roster before the arrival of coach Sean McDermott, who, since his hiring, has axed numerous players the team acquired without his approval. Under former coach Rex Ryan, the defensive end was the team’s first-round pick in 2016 (19th overall). He rebounded from a lackluster rookie campaign in 2017, improving from 13 tackles and two sacks in 2016 to 33 tackles and four sacks last season. However, Lawson has yet to prove that he was worth a first-round pick. That, combined with the team’s recent signing of defensive end Trent Murphy to a big three-year, $21 million contract, has speculation insisting that Lawson’s tenure with the team could be coming to an end. Lawson attended Clemson’s spring football game this past weekend and Aaron Cheslock from Fox Sports in Carolina caught up with Lawson on the sideline. In his interview, Lawson said injuries have slowed the start to his career. “Going into my third year, this is an important year. I’ve been battling injuries the last couple of years and I felt like I was about to get off to a hot start,” Lawson said. The 23-year-old then also set the bar high for himself in 2018. Crediting some changes he’s made to his diet, Lawson said that Buffalo fans can expect to see the “Shaq Lawson from his junior year in college.” That season, Lawson shot himself up draft boards, eventually landing himself in the first round. He notched 59 total tackles in 15 games played with a whopping 25.5 tackles for loss and 12.5 sacks. “I’m trying to make the Pro Bowl, playoffs again, and win the Super Bowl. Those are my goals this year,” Lawson said. billswire.usatoday.com/2018/04/18/buffalo-bills-shaq-lawson-super-bowl-pro-bowl/

Falcons take Calvin Ridley, WR out of Alabama, with the #26 pick. I love it. No more excuses for the offense this year.

Well there is one excuse left... Sark.
Good pick for the Falcons. They needed a WR in this draft and Ridley was arguably the best one on the whole board. They need DT as well, but guys they can pick up in the 2nd and 3rd rounds are not much of a dropoff from who was available for them in the 1st.
If somehow Vita Vea had fallen at DT... yeah, take him... but the two clear cut best DT's were gone and there are several from the 2nd tier that will be around for them in the 2nd.

Ya when I said no more excuses for the offense I was pretty much referring to Sark. This should also send a message that the all the drops last year are inexcusable.
Only other DT other than Vea I would have wanted in the first round was Payne and he wasn't there.
I have full faith in DQ/TD in these remaining rounds after hitting on so many defensive players the past three years. Will be interesting if we move up in the 2nd round tonight to snag the guy we want.
Ridley saves us a lot of money when we have to start paying guys like Vic, Matthews, Grady, Neal, Debo, and Campbell sooner than later.

I'm neutral about UGA, but 5 players have been picked so far including Sony Michelle to the Patriots, who is the most Patriot player ever.
Do the Browns finally have a QB in Mayfield? Doubtful knowing the Browns. Kind of a bizarre #4 pick too.
Falcons drafting best player available so far. Again I'm loving the Oliver pick. Arguably the best WR and CB in the draft. Not sure I've ever seen them draft like this. Still some decent DTs left. An o-line pick would be welcome as well.
