Phillies fell to 3-4 games back and regrouped. Now Braves must do the same.

A deserved loss. Not scoring a run with 2nd and 3rd and no outs is just not acceptable.

It's put up or shut up time for the Braves. A win tomorrow is a must IMO. The pitching and offense needs to pick it up and Freeman needs to start playing better. No more excuses for 3 weeks of little offense for the star player. He goes into these slumps every year and this kind of extended slump just can't happen with a contending team. It's not as noticeable when you're 15 games out of first place. Are the Braves going to be a contender or eventually fade to 3rd place? I think the next week will go a long way to giving us that answer. I think they will respond and so will Freddie although he may need a day off first. I can see the Braves winning the next 2 here and then winning 3 or 4 at home before the break. THAT would be very welcome at this point.

Freeman has to get going. He looks like Jethro Bodine swatting at horse flies. Come on Braves, get with it.

Yeah he is the one killing us out there right now. Give him a day off, throw some ice water in his face, red bull, methamphetamines..whatever it takes he needs to wake up.

I think we will be lucky to get 1 win this series and I can easily see us going 2-3 on the homestand. We’re limping towards the All Star Break while the Phillies are surging. It’s frustrating.

I’m seeing y’all start to freak out, so now is the time where I drop truth on ya, so we can all back up off the ledge.
The Braves have played 5 teams in 16 out of the last 17 days. This isn’t a make it or break it moment in the season, and they’re still on pace for 91 wins. This is how seasons go.
