I've been joking about it all year but it's not funny anymore.
Snitker is an effing moron for the way he uses Moylan. Moylan is his right hand man, his go to guy.
Moylan shouldn't be in the big leagues, but if he's going to be, he should be nothing more than a mop up guy.
As for the replay challenge BS, I've snapped, I've had enough of it.
Stop it. Just stop using it. It's horrific. Just do away with it.
Touché. I’ll admit I spoke too soon, but in my defense when I wrote this he could not stay away from a bat.

Side bar: WHY TF is Gohara the mop up man instead of someone like Luke Jackson, who they just DFAed.

Red was one of my favorite players on that team.....as was Spahn….wow, very cool, and I had not heard that.....memories like that last a lifetime. I have a buddy that years ago (mid 80's) sponsored a baseball card show in Asheville, NC, featuring Jim Palmer and Warren Spahn and another player (I forgot who). My biddy asked me if I wanted to go with him to the Airport to pick up Warren Spahn and then go to breakfast. I said hell yeah. He was drunk. We went to a Shoney's and he had breakfast and drank a lot of coffee. I was so disappointed that he was a huge racist digging on Hank Aaron (I want even say the names he called him), and he hated Willie Mays. He had a large ranch in Oklahoma with a tremendous amount of land and cattle. Other than the racist stuff, he was actually nice and had a tremendous amount of baseball stories. I have a feeling we would be disappointed in many of our old timers and their views on "social issues", but such open statements were kind of a sign of the times---Warren is buried in Broken Arrow, OK, and a friend of mine attended the funeral, which sounded like quite a large event...I learned a valuable lesson from my Dad one time when we encountered Satchell Page in a public restroom at a minor league game around that same time that Warren was playing, and I sort of got to see the other side of it....with a pretty cool result, actually... Talking about this brings back a lot of memories and conversations I was able to have with people, and I have had a lot of opportunities I cherish.
