Because Snit happens.
I knew as soon as Culberson hit that HR that he would become 1st man off the bench for the next few games, and with Acuña out, he's up.
I thought they should have started Peterson in game 2 yesterday... facing a shaky left hander, but that's not how Snit works.

If we're going to do it, we're going to need to ramp it up in June. After the Washington series, we have some very winnable series. That's before embarking on a brutal 10 game road trip through St Louis, the Yankees and Milwaukee I have no idea how the scheduling works, but I always thought the interleague play matched you up based on your record the year before. So, I figured we'd be playing softer teams since we were patsies last year. Unless they have you play an entire division for interleague and rotate it each year. Anybody know how it works?

It’s basically a rotating basis. This year we get the Al East. Last year, it was the Al West. But each team keeps its natural rival each year (Yanks vs Mets, Cubs vs Sox, Cards vs Royals, etc).

Just got back..looks like we could get brushed by an isolated cell about 7:30.
Activity looks isolated right now. Some activity to the west in Alabama and to the east from Macon northward. Looking good for a while after this cell moves through!

It's a set rotation of divisions. Has nothing to do with prior records.

Just got back..looks like we could get brushed by an isolated cell about 7:30. That happened to me in Thailand once, but the doc cleaned things right up when I got back to the states.

Some rain may begin about 7:35 PM. Should only last about 5 minutes but it is light. It's veering slightly westward so we may avoid it entirely or get clipped. Coverage and intensity are decreasing.

Thanks beast. I had an idea that was how it might work. The NFL does it the same way, or at least they used to. I don't watch them anymore.

Took a closer look. Ten minutes at most with just a few minutes of moderate rain otherwise light rain unless it expands but not expected.
