I'd rather never see Wisler again. or snitker So......who could have done a better job with this team than Snitker has? I'm curious.

Kimbrel holds his arm differently these days. It's become sorta creepy, actually.

Acuna always looks like he's trying to hit the long ball, like it's expected of him. It's making him look bad.I figured he'd be the big surprise when he came up but Albies is the prize so far. Acuna isn't ready. He lacks the maturity or something.

Acuna isn't ready. He lacks the maturity or something. He's being exposed, he'll have to adjust. I get that the high fastball looks really hittable, I remember that from when I played.....but if you can't actually ever hit it, then you need to stop swinging at it.
He either carries his hands too low or drops them too low......I'll have to watch closer next time.....but once the hands are low you aren't going to hit high 95+ fastballs.

My hands were never low and I still couldn't hit the 95+ fastball (high or low) very often! LOL

I really should have said 90mph plus, because hitters with low hands still won’t hit that if it’s up. I hit the high pitch really well because I had my hands real high and didn’t drop them. But lord I could not hit pitches three inches above my knees and lower.

I could hit a 90 MPH pitch fairly well but when we set the pitching machine to 100 MPH most of them were just foul balls. I can't imagine trying to gear up to hit a 100 MPH fastball and then have them drop a 90 MPH slider on you. I would have little chance!

The only time I ever tried to hit off a machine throwing 100mph I had to cheat like crazy to get around on the ball. I was starting my stride before the ball came out of the machine. And even then I didn't hit any balls very square, I was still behind on most of them. It was pretty insane.
