Hard to win games when the bottom third of your lineup is like having 3 pitchers batting. I hope AA can correct this somehow and soon. Evening dudes and dudettes....

If he was placed on the DL, he wouldn't be able to pitch early next week, would he? The stint is retroactive Retroactive until last start???Sorry, missed your comment. That is correct, trying to do three things at once here...multitasking!!!

Heavy rain imminent. Strongest batch of storms over northern GA right here in Smyrna. Rain coverage area in northern GA is less than 20% but we're gonna' get it!

These are very slow moving storm so hopefully they rain themselves out soon because they're not going anywhere very quickly. There must have been some areas that had some sun today to create his kind of instability because I didn't think the instability necessary for development would last this late into the evening. Also, I may have underestimated the strength of the dynamics aloft (upper air trough) and low level convergence as these seem to be more than just instability showers although that greatly enhances the development also. Looks like these may last until at least 9 PM. Hoping for weakening before that. Echoes indicating moderate to moderately heavy rain but even heavier just to the south. Mother nature never ceases to amaze and sometimes likes to let you know who is in control!

Heaviest rain has moved through and still some lighter rain until about 9 PM from the latest batch of showers. Echoes are weakening also but the remnants of earlier showers to the SW are producing some light to sometimes moderate showers just SSW and are moving NNE and may cause some additional concerns by 9:30 if they hold together.

Some light to light moderate showers are moving in imminently in advance of the larger area. Not looking good at this point for playing tonight unless things change in a hurry!
