and why has Beltre only played in 49 games? You have to be very protective of baseball player guys because there's so few of them?

What the hell is up with this team at home?
Are they just trying too hard in front of the home fans? Playing .500 ball at home just doesn't cut it.
They look wound tighter than Dick's hatband at home and have most of the season.

It appears all of our baseball player guys were just masquerading as baseball player guys.
We have zero bullpen pitcher guys.

It's 4 games which they have done before and bounced back from.... Specifically, why this crap at home?

I've got tickets for Saturday, and I get sick just thinking about going. If it weren't for my 10-year-old son, I wouldn't go. This team is collapsing. You can FEEL it.

As of now the Braves have the same record as the Dodgers, and we're the 3rd seed. The way we play at home and the Dodgers potent offense hitting in this ball park that wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing. I don't think it really matters either way. It's a win win situation for us.

The feeling has subsided somewhat. Hopefully, it goes away soon! LMAO. I been livin' and dyin' with this team this year. It's a friggin' roller coaster ride. You'd think a 57-year-old man wouldn't get so caught up in this, but hey, maybe it's keepin' me young.

Early September 2019 random Braves thoughts.... Braves have played by far the most teams above .500 that are division winning bound (79 games). We're also 11 games over .500 which is just a win behind the Dodgers being 12 over, who also have had played 7 less games with teams with record over .500. Braves are going to keep playing teams with records over .500. Which most likely could be 17 games. Depending on when (or if) we clinch this might not matter as much as we'll have more guys resting. Some more things. Nats are 6 games under against >.500 teams (35-41). Phillies are 2 over (41-39). Mets are 13 under (38-51) Nats have a better run differential than us +114 to +100, but when you look their record against >.500 teams it really makes you wonder. Cardinals and Cubs are great home teams (46-26) & (47-24) respectively and subpar to bad away teams (33-35) & (29-39) respectively. All in all the Braves have been the most consistent team in the NL. We're very good at home (45-27), on the road (42-27) against >.500 teams (45-34) and the rest. The Dodgers have been a superteam at home (55-18) , meh away (37-32), >.500 (42-30). Their run differential is +230, but that doesn't mean much to me. The thing that means the most to me, and the Braves definitely felt it in how good they were at home, is overcoming that. The confidence, the fans, the outstanding defense. It looks like the Yankee's resemble the Braves type of year the most, but they've played 10 less games vs teams >.500 The Braves are one of the best teams, we're going to consistently battle good teams the rest of the year, hopefully this will keep the Braves gas on the peddle. Plenty of pitching to get ready for. Hopefully our pitching gives us clear signs of confidence for their roles. Sept 5th standings - www.mlb.com/standings
