It’s a slow process, but we are creeping up the search engine lists.

If anyone remembers seeing “ourbraves” and uses that in a search we show up and we are
moving up with other search terms.

Hopefully we still have other members spreading the word when they have
a chance.

We are almost up to 50 members now. My question would be to those who have joined,
but haven’t posted much. I would like to know what it would take to get you to make
more posts/comments. Remembering the old bored, in my opinion we’ve actually had
better content than we had there, and virtually none of the trollish behavior and other BS.

Now of course that is just my opinion, and it might not be shared by everyone... and I am
always looking for suggestions to improve everyone’s experience.

They probably were, are, and will always be lurkers.  They might post a little, but they come here mainly just to read up on Braves fans opinions and just get caught up on some Braves news. That's what I gathered from the old bored anyways, from the ones that made very few posts.

Two reasons I didn't join earlier were because when I got the invitation, the actual bored was hidden from seeing anything.  It was just a freeforum website page, but I wasn't allowed to see threads.  When they shut down the old bored, and searched in my history and found it again, I was able to see all the threads.  Also I didn't know you created it.  The second reason I didn't join earlier is because I hate the process of signing up with emails so I was just procrastinating.  If I was able to see how the forum worked though, I would have joined earlier,  I was instantly happy seeing how everything works here.

I generally dont let people keep the default. If they don’t choose one, I
choose one for them.

The past week though I have been incredibly busy with some projects and just
getting here to check on registration applications and to update the news headlines
and live game links has been difficult.

Smart to put a Freddy G. Who would want to be seen with that?

Thanks pap... I tried to note all the complaints about the other place and make sure we addressed them
here. Most of the credit though goes to the members who have embraced what is being attempted here;
to have an entertaining and engaging conversational format that maintains a civil and friendly tone.
