Looks like this will be a fine board. HMF, I don't know what has been locked up but the link from the politics tread on the old board is still working. That's how I got here. (I know, now you wish the link was REALLY locked up!) I think it was in Nightman's post. Anyhoo, I can't correct any spelling mistakes.

I replied to the spelling corrections comment over in the Mike Tyson/Bruce Lee tread. The bored will be what the users make it. I just put together the framework for Braves fans to have a place with a lot more functionality, better layout, and that will put a stop to stupid trolling if it ever happens. I hope it does become a fine bored. |

A couple of questions:
Is a sidebar of recently updated topics a feature that you would want?
There are things I can do here, but I need to concentrate on what is l most important
as changes have mb limitations before I have to start paying for the privilege of said changes.
Do you guys see banner ads? If so, are they intrusive or a nuisance?

just for the record, I am not fond of the mobile version of the site.
The desktop version is much better and compatible with mobile devices.
I encourage everyone to scroll down to the bottom of the main page
and choose the desktop version.
some have said they were trying to get used to the new format, but I can
only imagine that they might be looking at the mobile version

No ads for me. Also have adblock. I didn't notice a box to check to get notifications of replies to posts. A nice feature if we can get it.

You can turn on and off notifications about threads you’ve posted in or bookmarked having new replies, but I am
not sure about specific posts.
The underlying software isn’t structured to make a reply to a specific post. It looks like replies are only coded to
the tread level, so the necessary data to make that tyle of notification work doesn’t exist. I’ll continue to
look into it, but I think that is the current situation.
It seems the closest we can get is if someone wants to make
a reply to a specific post, they can “quote” the post. Then you
have the option to have notiifications turned on when one of your posts has been quoted.

We’ve done a good job trying to let everyone know that a better Braves forum
exists at ourbraves.freeforums.net, but we’ve always got to be looking for opportunities
to grow.
There’s no such thing as 2nd place... If you aint cheatin, you aint trying.
Wait.. not sure that applies...
Anyway, thanks to everyone who has joined, and continue to let your Braves fan friends
know about our little corner in baseball heaven over here.
