Back years ago during the Dan Uggla revolution, I noted that we could replace him with a blue chair and do just as well. This lead to a long period where the blue chair was cosntantly brought up as possible bullpen help, managerial help... whenever we had a team need, we made jokes about bringing in the blue chair, and it became quite the celebrity.

Mine is pretty self explanatory. Love Albies. He's little. He's a beast. And he wears number 1. The picture epitomizes his playing style with his helmet flying off.

Guess I should explain mine. I'm an old second baseman, so I revolve Braves 2nd basemen through there. Anybody know who this cat is? (neither did I).

Excellent. Must have been before my time on the old board, but that's a very cool story.

I said it Mr Stolen Valour but it wasn't a joke I was in one of my typical Brave rages back then. The poster "Andy" kept going on and on how we needed to play EJ over Uggla which started a whole idiotic debate because who cares they both sucked right? So I flew off the handle and said who gives a crap stick a chair out there for all the difference it would make. Poster "Not_Sure" found that really funny which wasn't what I was going for I was simply in bad mood and sick of hearing about both of them. so I have to take credit for the founder of the movement by accident although you were the one that ran with it, developed the whole movement and made the chair blue, added avatars ect. So it's kinda a whole Paul di'anno/Bruce Dickensen moment ..Syd Barret/David Gilmour type thing I wonder what ever happened to the poster "Andy" btw. There are a bunch of I wonder where they are at now guys. like D'mize? anyone remember him? great poster..hilarious guy who once drunk attacked Micheal Stipe from REM.... Ghostof Gary of course..PJ..Johnuw...umm, that really crazy guy that Yak ratted out to his boss.... someone needs to create a tread for all the past names we remember

I vaguely remember Yak. He thought Heyward was the second coming. Did he leave because that didn't work out?

As PJ said about him 'he could get in a fight in an empty house." But he was like that from day one so no idea why he would suddenly get pissed off and leave. Hotlanta took credit for driving him away but I didn't see it go down. I liked Yak though..he certainly had a style but was a good guy.

When he wasn’t telling people to put a loaded shotgun in their mouth and pull the trigger.

haha that's why I said 'controversial" I liked Hotlanta too, and Joey and Lawrence, most of the guys you didn't like.

Nope, that's the one and only Ken Aspromonte. He was a journeyman who played a year or two with los Bravos Milwaukee version in the early 60's.
