Its a 2 way street -- if the game is too long it is not attracting the younger millennial generation -- the time of play issue is something that does need to be addressed -- and you are never going to limit pitching changes, managerial moves, etc. A 7 inning game is like a 9 inning game a generation ago. I do think there are too many relief pitchers in the game and watching the relief pitcher (except a star closer) does not really do it for me -- I like the jockeying with strategic moves on PH and player moves, but I want to see a Strasburg or Kershaw on the mound and involved in the decision, not some specialist RP -- just how I see it Then again, I came up in the era of the complete game so guess I see the game differently than some younger fans of Gen Y and millennials Honestly, I don't care about millennials. I'm not into completely changing the game to meet their lack of attention span. A 7 inning game was a 7 inning game a decade ago. Good pitchers are involved in the decision, that hasn't changed. There are still as many 20 game winners as there were 10 years ago. Baseball is a great game and it shouldn't change. People are the ones that need to change. If I was going to change the game I would go differently than anyone has ever mentioned. I would raise the mound and increase the plate 3 inches and make the zone a true armpit to knees. Then I would lower the number of balls for a walk to 3 just like a strikeout. Hitters would have to be more aggressive and so would pitchers and the game would speed up a lot

I tell ya man, I don't really know what to say about Snitker. These kids love playing for him and that means a lot, but he's not the best manager I've ever seen either. Hate like hell to cop out on the question, but she's a tuffy.

I just think it's a foregone conclusion and screw waiting), I'd subtract team control to 4 years, I'd raise the mound 2.5 inches, I'd abolish replays on slides into second for double plays, I'd allow Catcher's to hug the line on plays at the plate, and I'd have a salary floor for payroll.
