Trae hit the game winner in OT Sunday. 17 assists, but he didnt shoot all that well.
I thought for sure Mav's would lose against Thunder but they pulled out the win. Tonight Mav's played 76ers and I thought for sure they'd lose one on a back to back game but whooped 76ers ass. The funny thing in all of this is Luka didn't play in the last two games.
Get this Mav's have only won 4 games since the all-star break, 3 of the 4 wins Luka did not play.
Hawks were 2 games back of Mav's with 5 games left but now we're 3 back after tonight. Mav's also play some bad teams the rest of the way, so hopefully Hawks don't surpass them in the win column.
Interesting, I just noticed the Grizzlies and Mav's have the same record and they play each other twice in the last 5 games. Grizzlies have a tougher schedule and could easily be the 6th worst team.

Hawks win again against the 76ers Trae 33 pts, 12 asts, 7 rebs. Collins 25 pts, 8 rebs.
Mavs and Grizzlies lose and still have the same record. They play each other the next two games. Both have 4 games left. You may see the lowest scoring games ever when they face off.
Hawks 2 1/2 games back of each with 3 games to go. Hawks are driving me crazy, man. Magic are currently the 8th seed and we play them next. Magic will be giving it their all and they had our number all year, but I feel like that wont deter the Hawks
Hawks really need the Mav's to be the 7th worst team to slim their chances of getting into the top 5.

Hawks get demolished by the Magic 149 - 113.
Mav's lose to Grizzlies in their first game. Of course they sat Doncic. Really makes me want to put Young or over him for ROY with how many times they've sat him.
We can only tie their record now. I'm not really sure what that would mean for the lotto draft. We had a 1-1 record against them. Mav's still have the Suns too.
Hawks @ Bucks, then last game Pacers vs Hawks.

Magic has announced he is stepping down as Lakers' President of Basketball Operations. He kept trading away talent and then they'd would play better on another team. Signing Lebron wasn't what the Lakers needed, but I hope they don't create another superteam next season, just because Lebron must get another ring to be the goat or whatever narrative they'll push.

Final games are tonight Hawks clinched the 5th worst team when they lost Sunday night. Both Collins and Young sat. They play Pacers next and Pacers will probably be resting their stars, as there is no need to win.
Wizards finished as the 6th worst team. If Grizzlies lose their last game they will be tied as the 6th worst team
Mav's have won their last two games making them currently the 9th worst team but will most likely lose to the spurs tomorrow and will be tied as the 8th worst team with the Pelicans.
If Memphis beats a resting Warriors team tomorrow then there could be a three way tie for 7th worst teams, as they would be tied with Mav's and Pelicans.
I think if Memphis is out of the top 8 that pick goes to Boston, which would give Boston 4 picks in the first round.
I'm just glad the Hawks got a descent chance to make it in the top 4 draft lotto and Mav's slid down. Hawks played the season the right way.

Hawks should have won tonight and got to 30 wins. Collins fights his way for his 25th rebound and they call a timeout. Down by one with only a few seconds left they inbound to Taurean Prince who makes a three and puts Hawks up by a two with just over a second to go. Then DeAndre Bembry thought he was in the NCAA tournament so he fouled on the final three point attempt. Pacers make all the three free-throws and win.
Not the best way to end the season, but I hope it keeps them hungry. Hawks made quite a few dumb mistakes like this all season, definitely need some cleaning up to do.
Mav's lose and Grizzles win, so there's a three way tie for the 7th worst team and their ping pong balls will lower and even out equally in the draft
Also Dirk and Wade scored 30 in their final home games to end their career. Former Hawk Jamal Crawford also becomes the oldest player, 39 years old, ever to score 50 pts in a game.

Play the 2019 NBA Draft Lottery Simulator www.tankathon.com/Getting into the top 4 really does feel like a crap shoot. Determining the NBA Draft Order1 All teams missing the playoffs are in the Lottery 2 Teams with worse records get more chances at winning a top four pick (more ping pong ball combos) 3 The 1st overall pick is awarded by a drawing of ping pong balls 4 The 2nd overall pick is awarded by a drawing of ping pong balls 5 The 3rd overall pick is awarded by a drawing of ping pong balls 6 The 4th overall pick is awarded by a drawing of ping pong balls 7 Remaining lottery teams, sorted by record, fill out picks 5-14 8 Playoff teams, sorted by record, are assigned picks 15-30 - playoff seeds and outcomes have no impact 9 Random drawing decides who picks first between teams with same record 10 Tied lottery teams split their ping pong balls evenly, and any odd remainder and the better draft order position are given to the random drawing winner 11 Second round is ordered by record without playoff consideration 12 Second round ties are in reverse order of the teams' first round picks

NBA Playoffs start off with some upsets, unless you're the Toronto Raptors. No surprise there. 2-Rapters lose to a hot 7-Magic team. Raptors probably would have won if Lowry didn't go 0-7 in fg's and scored 0 points 7-Spurs win upsetting the 2-Nuggets. Spurs 7-15 at 3's, Nuggets 6-28 at 3's, seems to tell the story of what went wrong. Smart play by the Spurs. 6-Nets win against 3-76ers. Not a huge surprise, the 76ers don't have that much chemistry. sports.yahoo.com/joel-embiid-caught-looking-at-phone-on-bench-during-76-ers-playoff-loss-and-twitter-had-jokes-212708818.html 1-Warriors win against 8-Clippers. Clippers are just outmatched. Doesn't help when Curry is on. Curry 38 pts, 7 assists, 15 rebounds. 11-16 fg, 8-12 3 pt.

No upsets Sunday. Bucks are definitely the best in the East, Pistons are no match.
Celtics win in a low scoring game vs Pacers, much like their final game last year, excpet they're on the winning end this time around, as Pacers only scored 8 points in the 3rd quarter. I don't know a dang person playing for the Pacers except for the injured Oladipo.
Blazers and Thunder was game of the night, Blazers look a little too quick for Thunder.
Rockets vs Jazz....boring! Rockets only do iso ball. Threes and drive layups though the paint and maybe a one pass assists, but hey Harden only shot 3 free-throws.

Wasn't going to post as nothing spectacular happened in the two games tonight, but Warrior blew 31 pt lead and lost. The team of who's just demoralized Warriors at home. Tonight was a good night for Clippers to make names for themselves. I guess they are resilient, and also pathetic coaching by Steve Kerr.

Soft NBA called technical on Draymond after he took a charge and was celebrating in the 4th quarter. Houstion makes the free throw and then Draymond says FU refs and makes a three, putting them up by 5. Looks to be the momentum changer of the game.

Kawhi Leonard hits the game winner in the final game of the series and in the final seconds of the 4th quarter. That had to be one of the most dramatic shots I've ever seen. That ball bounced on the rim like 3 or 4 times and finally decided to go in. The fans gasped and then exploded.

Draft Lotto definitely was a crap shoot. 1. Pelicans 2. Grizzlies 3. Knicks 4. Lakers
8. Hawks 10. Hawks (via Mav's)
Hawks almost end up in the worst case scenario. If Knicks weren't in top 4 then we'd be picking 9. Lakers had less chance of getting in top 4 as Hawks did of getting a number 1 pick. Kinda convenient for the Lakers to trade for AD now with the 4th pick. These new rules fishily stink.
