Agreed. Heller had one bad outing after a sting of good ones.
He looks like someone who.......if he hasn't murdered some people and chopped them up into little pieces, put them in trash bags and threw them in multiple large dumpsters at business, it's just because he hasn't gotten to it yet.
The cray-cray look is a good one for relievers.

Plus another Heller benefit is he's just wild enough and throws hard enough to make batters scared. McPugh could be pretty wild at times but no one was ever scared by Toby Flenderson hitting them with a frisbee.

McPugh could be pretty wild at times but no one was ever scared by Toby Flenderson hitting them with a frisbee. That is true. It's true with Yates too even though he tops out a few miles per hour slower than Heller. They key is being able to focus and locate pitches when you need to. I would have a whole lot more faith in Yates if he could do that more often, but typically he is just as randomly wild as a fart in a whirlwind. You never know when he might locate well or miss by 2-3 feet. His BAA is the lowest of his entire career, which shows you his stuff is still there. But it doesn't matter how good your stuff is if you have no clue where any pitch is going to go. I find that a hard thing to go with late in games and in the playoffs. He scares the poop out of me what he's capable of in the playoffs, because Snitker is going to use him in the 7th, 8th and 9th innings with no hesitation whatsoever.
