Only thing I can reason Alex got Cheerios is because they felt the up and downs for our guys in the minors was detrimental …so he found anyone who was a place holder til they decide who takes the fifth spot to finish the season Cheerios has not earned a spot on this team ..can him

Eddie seems like he gets a hit every time he’s at bat … And they just said 14 hits in 6 games …wow !! 10 RBI in his last 5 games.

David O'Brien @dobrienatl · 43m #Braves starters have allowed 12 earned runs in 53 2/3 innings over the past nine games, and 10 of those runs were allowed by Chirinos in 8 2/3 innings during his two starts in that span including 4 runs in 4 innings tonight. Rest of the starters have an 0.45 ERA in that span. DFA! DFA! DFA! It's gotta really suck to be Chirinos right about now.

10 RBI in his last 5 games. And had he not been platooning most of the season, he may have started hitting consistently like he has much earlier in the season Love Eddie Yep, if he had been shown the kind of confidence the other players are shown I'm sure he would have done even more, he's a good ballplayer and a clutch guy, he's around .800 OPS in high leverage for his career and he's proven what he can do on the biggest stages. He has a club option $9M for next year they still haven't picked up, I feel certain they didn't plan on it. But he's a good fit and producing, for the money we're getting a good deal. The chemistry is there, and you can try to have an all star at every position....even if you could afford to do that it obviously doesn't guarantee you any team success.

It's gotta really suck to be Chirinos right about now. Probably. One thing I know for sure, it sucks for me having to watch him pitch for us, I pray he's finally done. 80% of his pitches were hittable tonight. It's not like you can see potential there. The only potential I see is him being a good batting practice pitcher.

Postgame, Snitker said when asked about Cheerios performance that he got us deep enough with the game within reach where we could turn it over to the bullpen to hold them.
At least he didn't say he was pleased by the performance.. He seemed pretty irritated that the question was asked.

So never mind that he has sucked every game for us and was getting rockets hit off him tonight. Snitker comes up with "he got us far enough into the game" BS. Now we're supposed to be happy when a starter gives us 4 crappy innings? Especially when there's at least 2 better options, maybe as many as four better options.
Snitwit would have me banned from the press conferences within two days if I was asking questions. Eff you if you don't like the questions, a-hole.
Have you noticed the sneaky propaganda they throw up on the screen every time they show any of the amazing stats our team has? They always have a big picture of Snitker next to it with a big smile on his face, so we can associate our success with what a great managering guy Snitwit is.

In his defense this time... it came across as a bit of a non-complimentary no-comment sort of statement from Snit. I can deal with him not throwing the guy under the bus.
My thought though involves how irritated he gets if anyone asks him anything other than a fluff question.

I was away and traveling again today, so I am just now actually watching the game.
I'll say this about Cheerios. His "stuff" may be below average, but on the other hand he's really not great at knowing how to pitch.

Yeah it was subtle but there was some frustration there instead of 100% rah rah he's a baseball pitcher guy that Snit usually gives in interviews about certain mediocre pitchers(Chirinos, McHugh)

Bowman: "There’s a chance the Braves could bring Allan Winans up to replace Chirinos at some point. But even if that occurs, Chirinos would likely go to the bullpen. He’s out of options, and as he distances himself from a rough recovery from Tommy John surgery, there are signs he could get back to where he was in 2019, when he posted a 3.54 ERA in 18 starts for the Rays."
Signs? What freaking signs? Typical sucking up.
And who is getting booted if Chirinos moves to the pen?
Captain Mush Melon Brains: Snitker was non-committal when asked if Chirinos could be removed from the rotation during this next turn.
“We’ll talk about it,” Snitker said. “It’s five days away. There’s a lot of conversations about everything.”

Is it an NL West thing? “I think they just have bad luck that they catch me at a good moment,” Rosario said. His humility, another one of the reasons the fans love him so much..
