You have got to be kidding. Seriously... this is a comically bad take. Inane actually. So bad that I think you must be trolling. Trolling? Riley is my favorite player. I stick by what I said. He's got a head problem. He's too good a player to be taking the at bats he's taking. He's not seeing the ball. He's unsure of himself. He seems distracted. He's not having fun. I've been a Braves fan since the mid-1950's....I'm not a troll. You just said you have given up on a guy with very acceptable stats that just appeared in the all-star game. Sure he's not seeing the ball great now... but you've given up on him... you're done... he's finished in your opinion? That is nuts.

Riley is making a common mistake, he’s trying to hit his way out of a bad period by being overly aggressive. He’s swinging at high pitches, low pitches, inside and outside pitches. He looks like Albies right now, except Ozzie is a good bad ball hitter and Riley isn’t. When you keep swinging at garbage that’s mostly what you’ll get. The bad thing is he is also missing good pitches because he’s out of sorts. Patience and pitch selection is where it starts in my opinion.
