With Harris picking it up this lineup is really deep and anyone can hurt you at any time. They are truly scary when hitting on all cylinders!

Don't forget Jesse getting out of that jam in the 8th. That was huge!

Looks like a 400 Trillion dollar payroll can't buy you the kind of testicles our team has.

The combination in the booth tonight was gold as well. The way they interact together is great. As much as I would like to have heard Maddux instead of Frenchie, his walk off call was fantastic.

I was not looking forward to it at all, Smoltz is such a chatterbox and I don't care for Glavine or Francoeur as announcers, but I thought it went great, very funny all night. One of my pet peeves is announcers razzing each other too much, but it's usually guys talking about something completely non baseball related. The stuff tonight was all relevant because it was about them as players.

I really enjoyed it... although I think adding Maddux would have made it even better.
The chemistry between those guys is fantastic.

Did you catch Chipper saying "you have no idea how many times in my career I wanted to hit Maddux?" Have you ever heard some of the stories guys have told about the "pranks" he played on guys? Like crapping in their shoes? I mean come on, I don't care who it is, somebody does that to me I'm doing more than just getting mad about it. He was just flat out nuts with his "pranks." I would imagine there's a lot of those that nobody could even talk about publicly. I love joking and pranking with friends and co-workers, but man there's a line of human decency in all that too.

Where I really thought we were going to win in the tenth was when they weren't holding Hilliard close to 2nd base and d'Arnuad came up, who can be a really good opposite field hitter, and they left him a 70 foot opening on the right side then pitched him away, just begging him to hit a grounder through that gaping hole. I was laughing my butt of waiting for it to happen. Stupid is as stupid does.

I've heard the stories but I don't know where the truth ends and the legend takes over. He seems to still be pretty well liked by everyone, so there's that.

Yeah once you’re in people’s heads you can claim to have done things, like the chili thing, and get the same effect as if you really did do it. In fact it may be satisfying knowing you didn’t do it but that you’re in peoples heads to the degree that can screw with them and have them thinking you really did.

Crickey just caught the game highlights. That was wild. Think the Mets are cooked or will they get it together? Miami looks like a threat right now but I'm not sure how sustainable thet is for them, and Philly is hard to gauge.
None of that matters of course if the Braves keep winning.
