Justin Toscano @justinctoscano · 52m The plan is for AJ Smith-Shawver to pitch out of the bullpen. He would be the next man up if the Braves needed a starter, but it’s easier to break guys into the majors via the bullpen than in the rotation. The Braves had an opening by DFA’ing Luetge, so they were able to do this.

Strange reading scores and getting upset that the Marlins are winning

I don't know how he just had two pretty good years with the Yankees, he was way more hittable than McHugh and that's nearly impossible.

The right lineup for tonight with LHP on the mound would be: Acuna Albies Riley Murphy Olson Blowzuna Pillar Arcia Harris But it ain't.
Blowzuna over the 'Narddawg? Sit Eddie even though he can hit LHP? The order is better with Olson out of the 2 spot.

The real answer would be no to both of your questions, but I'm operating under the fact that Blowzuna has a spot in the starting lineup the rest of the season and in the playoffs even if he goes hitless the rest of the year.

If you want to really get the guy out of the lineup who really struggles the most against LHP and be sensible about Blowzuna showing signs of falling down again, I'd go this way:
Acuna RF Albies 2B Riley 3B Murphy C Olson 1B d'Arnaud DH Pillar CF Arcia SS Rosario LF
Eddie has speed that could come in handy in that 9th spot as the lineup turns over.

11 pitches needed to get their leadoff hitter out.
Great, we have a head start on getting into McHughville and Minterland early tonight.

Come on Elder. Don't wanna have to go to the pen by the 4th or 5th inning due to throwing 115 pitches

Gaudin has a little bit of Chip in him on high fly balls hit to the outfield. Not nearly as bad as Chip, but he pops a little bit of a chubby any time a ball gets skied into the OF.
