We need this game. Hopefully we give Strider some run support. This game on the surface looks like a gimme. But this team seems to defie odds...not to our benefit a lot of the times.
Not sure, but Acuña might be coming down to Earth a little. A non factor the past several games. Killing a lot of worms lately...especially out to short stop. Hopefully he kicks it up a notch.
I hate the f**ckin Phils. Please stomp on this friggin team.

I would tempur my excitement on a 29 year old guy who at the MLB level has a lifetime ERA of almost 6, WHIP at 1.5, and who has
walked over 5 per 9 innings.

Braves are a -267 betting favorite today with Strider. A 74% winning prediction.
Wonder what the struggle factor will be with some no name scrub going for Philly? In other words, what on paper looks like a cake walk will turn into a nail biter.
In other news, we desperately need a left handed bat. Olson is effectively the only one we have that's worth anything. Ozzie is hit or miss. Mostly miss. Rosario is who we thought he is and for the most part won't appreciably improve. Harris must have closed his eyes on his last home run because he is killing us at the plate.
If anyone has Joc's number, see what's up...

This lineup needs to change with Olson getting out of the 2 spot. I don't care if he comes out today and hits 2 HR... he doesn't need to be doing it at
that spot in the lineup.

So, the Braves play the 7:00 ESPN game tonight, then cross 3 time zones to play the A's Mon night, and a 5:07pm PDT game time.
I thought the players association wouldn't allow that?

That's really ridiculous and so easily avoidable. Typically you get a whole day off when you fly coast to coast instead of having to play a game 12-14 hours after you land. |
