100% need to get Hilliard some play time again Radio guys said Chipper has been working with him to hit to RF rather than be so pull happy …he’s prolly stuck in a think funk while AB rather than just try to relax and hit it where it’s pitched….AL ROY also struggling so far this season but has more ABs Must be a living up to expectations sorta thang.. Sometimes sitting a guy down for a day when he would normally start will work wonders. I am not trying to bench him, send him to the minors, or threaten his position... Maybe he just needs to know that it's not all on him. I think struggling like he has is only putting more pressure on him and it's snowballing. Hilliard isn't here to replace him, but only to spell him when he's struggling. There's a lot of different ways to manage players, but we seem to be locked in to only one of them.

Hilliard has had 2 ABs since May 5th. Who in their right mind thinks that's a good way to manage a team? Especially when the golden guy who plays the same position is in a prolonged slump.
And yet we don't even PH for the struggling player, while we do PH for another player who is in a nice three week run now with the bat.
There aren't even words for it.
