Does that count as a CG SHO for Max? Good question.
"A pitcher earns a complete game if he pitches the entire game for his team regardless of how long it lasts. If the game is shortened by rain or if it lasts into extra innings, it counts as a complete game if the pitcher was the only pitcher to record an appearance for his team."

They claim Olson's homer went 433 feet. Looked 460+ to me.

3AM EST, it's still raining in New York and looks like at least another hour or two before it clears out!

They claim Olson's homer went 433 feet. Looked 460+ to me. I take those estimates with a grain of salt. They estimate them by launch angle and exit velo which doesn't really account for carry from wind or backspin. I remember one year their estimated distance on a home-run was 5 feet short of the distance it would have had to travel to actually leave the park. Plus there was Soler's HR in the World Series. I'll go my grave thinking that shot went a lot farther than what they said.

3AM EST, it's still raining in New York and looks like at least another hour or two before it clears out! They certainly made the right call. With forecasted heavier precipitation rates after 9 PM and confirmation of that on the radar echoes it was going to be very unlikely to restart the game after it went into a delay. I expect somewhat of a reverse scenario tonight with more rain at the beginning and becoming lighter as we move through the evening.

The Pirates waited until he was 92 years old to put him in their Hall of Fame? Geez then they tell him and passes away later that same evening. Sad.
