I'm half-ass watching golf right now and they have Joe Buck commentating. Golf and Bucky just isn't a good mix at all.

What a fustercluck the Ryder Cup became this year. They'll get drubbed in the Sunday singles, what an embarrassment.

Well that's what happens when you choose the team based on them being your drinking buddies. Different subject, but... I'm still not quite over the LIV merger hypocrisy. I agree about choosing your buddies, this was the biggest fail in the history of US Ryder Cup teams. When we won the last one we looked set up for the next 4-5 Cups, Zach Johnson was able to erase all of that.
I have some real strong opinions about the LIV stuff. I feel like those players who chose to play the LIV tournaments have done enough for the PGA they should be allowed to play wherever they want. It went both ways--the PGA made them, and they made the PGA. The other aspect of it to me is it's all dirty money, apparently nobody remembers the way the PGA strong armed everybody out of the way and took control back when they first came along. Now they're just pissed because somebody's doing it to them.
And then the outcome is the crying by guys who grew up with a silver spoon in their mouth and have made 30-60 million dollars playing golf arguing with each other because one group is making more now.
I didn't even watch it this year, I said before it started we would get shellacked, that seemed pretty obvious, and all the rich guys crying....just all a big turn off.
And Patrick Cantlay crying because he wasn't getting paid to play in the Ryder Cup and refusing to wear a USA hat to protest it....he should have been hanged over that shyte.

I really didn't care who went to play on the LIV tour, or the PGA's response to that.
My only issue came when the merger occurred because of all the comments and actions that had previously come from the PGA and Monahan. Plus regardless of them being right or wrong, he really hung a bunch of PGA tour players out there.

Plus regardless of them being right or wrong, he really hung a bunch of PGA tour players out there.I do agree with the whole bolded part. There were a LOT of players on the PGA Tour who deserved it more than Spieth and Fowler, and even moreso than Thomas. Claiming those guys have come through in the past and they'll do it again even though they haven't been performing as well as others is classic Snitkering.
I didn't care for Mickelson when he first came on tour with his turned up collars and reeking of being a rich spoiled kid, but over the years he grew on me. Given his age though I don't think he should have made the team, BUT, despite Koepka's statement about "play better," Mickelson actually has had a better year than Brooks. Koepka won a major and Phil finished 2nd in one.....but Phil out performed in the other three and won more on the LIV tour than Koepka. So technically he actually deserved it more than Koepka. DeChambeau definitely should have been on the team as well as Dustin Johnson.
Then to make matters worse, Zach Johnson then made bad pairings choices. He'll get to hear about it the rest of his life.

Now that I'm semi retiring and cutting my hours way back starting in January, I'm planning on getting back to playing some golf, it's going to a goal of mine to perfect this move:
