Huascar has pitched well enough to get a couple of wins since he has been back, hope he gets some luck and offensive support this time out
And of course no Will Smith HR meltdown. Must win I do not care what their record is, take nothing for granted.

An article came out today basically stating that it's Freeman driving everyone to play every game. That could be looked at like the inmate running the asylum, and it's not really good.
No SF Giant has played more than 130 games this year. Our entire infield is sitting around 145-146.

Tonight’s starter Huascar Ynoa since returning from the injured list:
6 GS, 3.58 ERA, 3.25 FIP
36 strikeouts in 32 2/3 innings
Opponents hitting .190/.262/.319 during that span

I have been a Snitker defender in the past and while good things have happened in his time here, I think its time for a new personality to be running this clubhouse and making in game decisions. Great man, good baseball man but sometimes a change is needed for the best interest of the organization. I do not hate Snitker but I have not understood some of his work this season. I love Freeman as a man and player but I am still pxssed at him in his reaction in that Nats game - putting his arm around Soto and why is any player talking nice to the opposing manager in their dugout. That was the thing where I ask who is running the team. I do not think a bad intention was intended but its not the place of a player talking to the opposing manager during the game. Never would have happened on say, a Jim Leyland or Don Zimmer run team. Not sure that would fly under Bobby either.

He is over the prospect stage of his career, he has looked like he will be a dependable SP at this level for this yr. He was one of those Coppy collection of pitchers that did work out. Was in that Jamie Garcia deal. Sometimes you win with a surprise unheralded name you pick up. He deserves a W for a change.

What the actual eff? So the slowest guy on the team is leading off? I realize the game has changed, but I really don't think it's changed that much.

Should be Rosario IMO.

He's never really hit leadoff, but I wouldn't mind trying him there. I think I would definitely prefer that over Soler. It's really a crapshoot right now, but that lineup is just really random.

Two articles.. One from talking chop and one on yahoo sports That's ridiculous. I would have thought Freddie had better sense than that. Besides, first base is the easiest position on the field. He'd probably feel differently if he were a shortstop or center fielder. It's a big reason why we fail in the playoffs, IMO. Last year we did better after the 60 game season. I don't think that's a coincidence. Freddie isn't the manager. He and I would butt heads over him giving guys grief for not being out there a day here and there, I'll tell you that. There are 26 guys on a team. The backups aren't there to serve as Freddie's cheerleaders.
