He really never has any idea where the ball is going when he throws it.
When he threw the pitch inside that Gray got hit in the hand trying to bunt, on the next pitch it was low and outside and the Rockies announcers said they were surprised we didn't back in on Gray on the next pitch. That cracked me up......Touki WAS trying to go in again, he just missed by two feet. Which is pretty normal for him. He has an awful lot of wacky motion going on, he has good stuff when he somehow throws it in the general area of where he wants it, but that's just not often enough.
Now, to the guy that thought we should chill out,,,,,, this is why.
That would be me and you were screaming take him out in the 2nd inning. You'd destroy a pitching staff in a month with that kind of knee jerking. I'd have taken him out after 4 and put Smyly in, but that's just me.
