Braves will regret trading Bryse Wilson, though. I'd almost guarantee it.

The Marlins are LOADED with young talent. If their young pitching comes through next year they could be ready to compete with us for the division.
They could be scary good.
And they don't even have Sanchez now, he had to have some surgery.
Alcantara is a legitimate ace already. The beauty of that is the Marlins got him from the Cardinals......for Ozuna and then Ozuna had two average years in St. Louis then left.
Didn't Sanchez have rotator cuff surgery or was it TJ? He was the centerpiece of that Realmuto deal. Alcantara has worked well for him he has been around for 3 yrs now. And Brinson has shown signs of becoming a legit MLB player but he has been so inconsistent - who knows. I see where Garrett Cooper is not playing for them. " to repair a capsular tear and clean out the back side of his right shoulder,"
Whatever that means, but it doesn't sound as serious as some shoulder issues. He's going to be a #1 or #2 and he'll be ready for next season.

Adrianza should play more. Guys need to play. He's a good utility guy. Snitker's the boss though, not me. Here's what is simply asinine about his situation. Look at his June and July slashes:
June---.289/.426/.421/.847 July----.320/.414/.520/.934
And then out of nowhere, for no damn sensible or defensible reason, he got 14 AB's in August.
I'd like to see how Snitker's chihuahua would defend that.
So of course Adrianza struggled in August, and now somehow he's behind a guy on the depth charts who is hitting .170 and is not near as good with the glove.
Pure stupidity.

I guess that inning bought Newcomb another 3 years or so. And a chance to pitch in the 8th inning of some close games.

I might consider sitting Dansby again tomorrow. Adrianzna seems to have the hotter bat right now and plays pretty good defense. With Riley and Ozzie cooling off we need a little more offense. Dansby should be good for the rest of the year then. We have an off day coming up too so maybe not either. Just a thought. Or sit Riley and let Adrianza play 3B. But that makes too much sense so don't hold your breath.
