The misplay in center actually cost the Braves an out. lol, I hadn't even thought of that......but d'Arnaud did to advance to second base on the throw home!
Which just meant he had to walk farther to go put his gear on.....

I am really hating Fried's pitch selection tonight.
2 batters ago he threw 3 straight sliders all off the plate and then 2 straight change-ups in the same spot.
Where was the fastball?
Then went through similar before getting the runner at 3rd on the pitcher's sacrifice.
Finally got back to the fast ball with the final out, but to me just not throwing it enough and using the slider way too much.

This Gnats pitcher is weird--he's throwing 87 mph fastballs, and his curveballs either break three feet or just spin like a classic cement mixer and hang there.
