Atlanta Braves @braves The #Braves today returned RHP Ian Anderson from his rehabilitation assignment and reinstated him from the 10-day injured list after optioning RHP Edgar Santana to Triple-A Gwinnett following last night’s game.

Grant McAuley @grantmcauley #Braves could use a strong performance from Ian Anderson, who takes the hill for the first time since July 11th. Eddie Rosario gets his first start for Atlanta. He'll play left while Joc Pederson moves up in the order and starts in center.
This team deserves whatever bad luck and failure befalls it.
When you make a decision like the one just made... Activate Anderson and send down Santana instead of Tomlin, no one can take you wanting to win seriously.
This thing with keeping Tomlin on the team is one of the strangest things I have seen in 55 years of being a sports fan. Santana has been pretty good this year. There is no possible reasonable explanation for this. But wouldn’t you love to here the reasoning behind it? Even “veteran presents” isn’t legit in this Tomlin thing.
Cleaning the toilets in the clubhouse is about the only way Tomlin could be useful to the organization, and he doesn’t have to be on the roster to do that.
This Tomlin thing is on the FO as much as its on Snitker cause it could easily be fixed by DFA ing Tomlin which would be the correct move
It pisses me off that no one seems to be asking the tough questions about it. If there is any media person bringing this up let me know. This Tomlin thing should be second guessed from here on end. I have been a baseball fan since 1967 and this is strange.
This is the strangest thing I can think of since back in 1994, Bobby Cox kept platooning a young developing Ryan Klesko who was showing well in his first full yr with a guy named Dave Gallagher maybe some of you remember that guy - it was back in 1994
