I do like our matchup, Ynoa was quite good for his first time back
Do not know much about Luis Gil. That NYY team has been on fire like us, a split is likely as I see it
They have to lose one at some time - Braves fans have to be loud and shout out those stinking NYY fans

We're going for the Chipper Jones here, but the law of averages and the historical odds of 1st game home after a long road trip are against us.
May the super-natural power of the Larry overcome.

The Chipper force versus the Will Smith force.
May the force be with us.
After all, gingers have no soul.

Here's a blast from the past--I recall when this happened but I totally forgot it was us, and totally forgot it was Will Smith. He's such a vag. He admitted he put that pine tar on his arm in the bullpen while he was warming up and then just forgot to take it off, and then he kept yelling at our dugout for calling him on it. Captain Queef. It's really too bad he didn't hold a lifelong grudge against our organization after that.

What a jerkoff he is. Yep. I can't say I had any respect for him before, but after he yelled at the Marlins player the other night I lost any slight respect I may have had, that was just ridiculous and bush league. It was a long time before I stopped getting irritated at hitters showing off when they hit a home run, but when every one of them does it, including guys on your own team, you can't get mad at the opponents for doing it. I'm sure Acuna's home run routine rubs a lot of other fans and players the wrong way, so if you're Smith and you get owned like he did, and the batter just has a modern day normal reaction, keep your idiot mouth shut.

Ben Ingram @ingramradio Braves and Yankees both riding 9 game winning streaks. Some interesting similarities…

w/RISP: NY: 22 for 78 ATL: 23 for 78
Homers: NY: 14 ATL: 20
Errors: NY: 2 (0 in last 6 games) ATL: 1 (0 in last 7 games)
Run Differential: NY: +28 ATL: +33

He’s our ace hole. I mean ace in the hole.

What.............an............idiot.
His actual words are even worse than HMF's mock quotes.
“I’ve got a lot of confidence in him, because he has got confidence in himself,” Snitker said.
That makes a grand total of two people on the planet that believe in him. He hung three breaking balls yesterday and got super lucky they missed each one.
Oh well, the playoffs are going to be fun when we're relying on Smith to close things out.
It is funny that Snitker chooses to cite numbers in this case, because he always ignores stats. We can all go by the eye test and see that Smith has no command and is getting hit hard every time he's out there.
