Just putting it out there, McCutchen went 6 for 7 last night, with a walkoff homer, to beat the Dodgers.

JK because you should recall I was advocating for Cutch next year too--but we don't want him to have TOO good of a year this year or everybody will want him and the price will go up.

To his credit, Classless Dick only used 7 pitchers today, he's getting better about that. To be fair, we shouldn't laugh so much at the Faillies, after all the strength of schedule has been very unfair to them so far--they had to play us, and we got to play them.

Huge props to the Faillies by the way by managing to win 2/3 against the worst (or maybe 2nd worst team?) in all of baseball and thereby staying out of the cellar. For now.
They're probably really proud of that.

Classless Dick after the series with Miami quoted as saying. Yeah it was a great series. Winning and losing is not important to me. It is the stats and we really padded our run differential this series. That will look good to our new intelligent philly fans who know what is important.

Just remember... it’s not how you strat the season, but how you finish. If neither of those things works out, then it’s run differential. If that doesn’t work out either then it’s being able to play your young players while everyone else plays older players, and if that doesn’t work out in your favor then it’s those guys in the minors who may not be rated as high as other team’s guys in the minors but who obviously will do better than 1 cherry picked guy from your team.
Anyway you slice it, the Faillies are the best.

Dansby had a .630 OPS last year and was supposedly the worst player evar. I wonder what that makes Crawford?

Has Hollie been around of late. Or is he going to wait till after the power house reds to talk about his team finally getting back on track after the fish and reds series. <—- hopefully.

The Faillies are likely to get swept by teh Reds. Hollie is sleeping with the fishes. And I don't mean the Marlins.
