We need to keep Duvall this time. He just FITS the Braves for some reason.

Cole Hamels rips the Dodgers off too. Was scheduled to throw 2 simulated innings today, was shut down after 1 inning, and that ends his comeback bid.

He’s cashed big checks the last two years and apparently made no real attempt at being ready to actually pitch. Teams should know better, though. He’s been washed up for a while now.

Win win.
We win the game and we didn't even have to burn Tomlin to do it. Now we have him fresh in case we have a situation where we need to give up a bunch of runs.
That’s gold, Jerry!!

Bania (spelling?) was a classic Seinfeld character. Funny as hell and as over-the-top as they come.

Stat of the Day: The Ray's are 11-4 when their starting pitcher goes 2 innings or FEWER.

So I guess it's not just Alex... I felt like Alex took a reasonable risk, the Dodgers not so much, but LA has money to burn, so it doesn't matter much anyway.

Most people around here didn't think AA took a reasonable risk. They claimed it was an idiotic move. Yes though... that is a bug difference with teams like the Dodgers.. financial mistakes don't hurt them.
