Okay... none of this "we won the series so it's okay if we lose today" nonsense...
Go for da throat and da sweep. Every game means a lot.

Time for Snit to give Soler (his latest baseball player guy crush) the day off and put Pederson in the 2 hole.

Correa has a slash of .271/18/62 with an OPS of .837 and 89 Ks. His WAR is 5.0.
Swanson has a slash of .263/23/68 with an OPS of .808 and 121 Ks. His WAR Is 1.7.
The numbers come from baseball-reference, BTW.
Obviously, Dansby has struck out more, but he provides stellar defense, is a very good baserunner, and has more homers and RBIs. I don't understand WAR, but how can there be that much difference, especially when the lower WAR player has more homers and more RBIs? Makes no sense to me.

i hope we break the trend today of scoring 1-2 runs after scoring big the night before we need to sweep

Makes no sense to me. i do not get it either and when is dansby a FA I do not understand WAR in that I cannot see how you measure a players overall complete value into what is usually one single digit number. There are better metrics out there but the proponents of WAR have done a good sell job promoting it. Throw enough stuff on the wall and some of it will stick. The Brian Kennys of the world (he annoys me) have that big platform and he is one that has pushed the new fangled stuff. And I believe we have one more yr of control over Dansby. I would like this infield kept together, its home grown and with Acuna, we really have a home grown bunch. And we are not even including Langliers, Pache and Waters down the line - guys who should get good in time. For me, I am attached to these players as we watch them

If d'Arnaud will take one year, I'd like to re-sign him. If not, I'd say give Langaliers his shot from day one of 2022.
