I think we should all take a moment to reflect on the memory of Kevaan Smith, or my namesakes; The Famous Leon.
We will always fondly remember and love Kevaan. In a league where all players seek to carve out a unique place on a team with a unique skill set either offensive or defensive, Kevaan chose his own path. He would provide neither.
His job was never easy... He always had to be ready to play about 3 times as much as even he wanted, while having not the skill or desire to do it.
He had a real shot to be the lowest rated player in several major categorys, but sadly will come up a few games and AB's shy of the necessary minimums. This though no fault of Bryan Snitker, will always be the tragedy of the final year of the Infamous Leon.
Leon showed up as a man with nothing left to give, and he lived up to that no potential in ways most of us could never imagine.
So thank you Kevaan... You sort of tried from time to time, and while you epically never delivered on the field. You never failed to deliver the funnies.

If you're going to do something, do it right.
Kevan did wrong as right as could be.
Salute!

🎼 He shall be Le-e-on 🎼(in my best Elton John voice). May he rest in peace.

To think this guy was not that bad at other stops, for us has to be one of the top 5 worst Braves ever.
My vote for worst Brave was Craig Robinson who was the starting SS for one yr, 1974. He was bad on both sides of the ball, never started another yr in MLB. Did not last long.
Jo Jo Reyes is a strong number 2 worst Brave. Worst pitcher we ever had even worse than the likes of Tomlin

Tomlin gave us some good stuff for a couple of years. In fairness, as frustrated as we get with Tomlin the guy has had a legit journeyman MLB career, was even a part of the WS team with Cleveland in 2016. He did give us some useful work. I think the most disappointing pitcher we have developed was Jo Jo Reyes who actually looked like he had great stuff and a good delivery. Good enough that he was ahead of the likes of Matt Harrison who was later a useful pitcher in the Texas Rangers good days. Why he did not develop, my guess it was always between the ears And he was a guy who did not seem to be bothered by the losing - he never was one of those guys who seemed to just hate and despise losing and do just anything to get better. That is why I just was turned off by Jo Jo cause there was talent there

Tomlin gave us some good stuff for a couple of years. He did, but we need to realize that those years are over. We're in a race here. He came in today and took what was a workable margin and just destroyed any chance we had throwing batting practice fastballs. Pathetic performance, especially for a veteran.

Well it's Snitker and AA you have to convince, not me.

I'll bet Snitker would say he was happy with the way Tomlin was throwing.

No, I thought Josh was throwing the ball really well tonight... just as he has been all year long. They just ran into a couple and that's going to happen to everyone.
