Absolutely OK with the Rosario acquisition. Panda just wasnt doing it anymore. Duvall is nice to have back, but that was a really odd way to go about it. Why even let him go in the first place?
People dont like Alex Jackson being traded, but that dude just couldn't hit a lick at the MLB level(small sample size admittedly), but with Langeliers continuing to develop and mash in the minors, Jackson was tradeable.

Langeliers doing well doesn't change the fact we gave up something for something else we could have had without giving up anything.
I would have like our future catching outlook better with Langeliers, Contreras, and Jackson a lot better than without 1 of them. Plus if all 3 developed decently, catchers are a valuable commodity. I just wouldn't have done it this season... if we were 12 games over .500 I might feel differently.
The Rosario deal had nothing really to do with Panda.. It was a straight salary dump on their part, and we just had to make room on the bench. Literally... make.....room. It wouldn't surprise me at all if they DFA Panda within a week..

Alex Jackson has been in pro ball since his draft class of 2014. He has struggled most of his pro career. But you have some who never want to part with a prospect no matter what. Hey, some were panning over parting with Bryce Ball (struggling in A ball) for Joc. You are never going to change that - Jackson might surprise and be a later bloomer or, just be another AAAA org depth player. I know he was doing well this yr, we never gave him another chance after being sent down so AA sold on him for now thinking he would get something. He could come back up and struggle again. He has struggled most of his pro career - had yrs when he was a .200 hitter in our org. As for Rosario, no way anyone can question that. For the useless Panda? Poor Cleveland fans, they get that crappy team name and their next reward is a stinking rebuild. Honestly some act like they want to be in a state of perpetual rebuild. No thank you. AA is making an effort and he might not take over the Mets but he is not punting on the last 2 months of the season. Good for him. He is not Hart/Coppy - thank god.

At the very least getting Duvall and Rosario send Almonte and Heredia to the bench, where I actually believe they could be successful. They showed some flashes of potential, but they just weren't everyday starters.

TerribleTR-Westie..
Not one person here had said anything ever that makes it seem like they want to stay in a perpetual rebuild state.
Your Hart/Coppy comment at the end of your post in non-sensical other than you just try and work in a Hart/Coppy comment 3 times a day, lol
