No I'm sorry POM, but Atlanta is a horrible sports town. Some of the largest crowds to watch soccer matches as 70,000 fans scream at the top of their lungs from bell to bell indicate Atlanta is just full of complacent medicocrity accepting terrible sports fans. How about when they were having to give away tickets to Braves games just to sit the stands? Forget them times.

Oh well, that is what, 7 losses out of 9 -- are we playing ourselves into sellers and not buyers around the deadline -- this keeps up its a fair question Will we even be at 500 on July 31st? ? Good question from what we are seeing as of late -- they are not making breaks for themselves The lineup is fizzling badly -- and this keeps up I might get on the fire Snitker bandwagon -- I like him but its about results and results only can’t keep running out the lineup thats doing nothing.

I do not think its a lousy sports town - not at all And United fans are second to none and College Football -- Those fans are King But its soul does not die when its pro teams underachieve -- I grew up in the Northeast -- ask older Philly fans about the hate of the 64 Phillies or the 78 Red Sox -- there is not as much consternation in ATL about the 96 WS -- the SB 51 is still quite fresh in Falcons fans minds though I was complmentary toward United fans The sports talk sucks though but fans -- you have good and great fans here they do not have the hate other fans have

Braves are averaging 32,000 a game...
Those passionate Philly fans are showing up at about 26,000

HOT TAKE ALERT!!!! If you boo a player you’re supposed to cheer for because he failed at executing then your kind of a selfish jerk. I booed Julio when he gave up a grand slam to mark trumbo of the Orioles before he got an out. Not sorry about it at all. Players aren’t perfect and he didn’t force the manager to start him.

He was lousy that night and the Boos were deserved in my book We need Julio to be good and his inconsistency the last yr and a half makes some Booing warranted -- but when he is good he deserves the standing O He is not as consistent as he used to be but he is not old or broke down so there is hope cause he does have some good games Newcomb -- not too bad today but still gave up a couple of long ones and another L -- he has to do better and he can

Yea, but did they ever have a fan thrown out of the ball park by an umpire Remember when that tool Bill Hohn (notorious Braves and Bobby Cox hater) threw a fan out of our park -- one of the crazy things we ever saw Bill Hohn -- that was a bad name from the past - was not sorry to see him retired and gone Hohn, Erric Gregg, Doug Eddings, we have had some umps that hate us and they were bad umps and none of em ever get replaced Joe West still has a job for all his BS over the yrs

He actually gave up 3 runs but only 4 hits -- he was not the problem today -- right now its a total team problem He pitched good enough for a W but the long balls got him today -- he has done better We need him

Aww man... I would avoid buying dugout seats for Julio games.
I've got tickets to three games in the second-half and I pray none of them are Julio games.

I'm heading toward the non-believer category at breakneck speed. Ender is killing us offensively, and Acuna and Dansby aren't far behind. It's impossible to fill all the holes we have. All we can do is hope they get better in the 2nd half. We really needed that game last night, because we knew Greinke was pitching today. I know they're trying, but it just ain't happening.
